What they mean together
The Moon hides things and The Tower rips the cover off. Something hidden suddenly comes to light. A lie or a fear shatters and, hard as it is, you finally see things as they are.
In love
A secret that comes out, or a suspicion that gets confirmed or disproved. You'll be deciding with the truth in front of you.
Career and money
A mess gets cleared up, sometimes abruptly. Better to know.
An example
If you ask about a project where something doesn't add up and The Tower and The Moon come out, get ready for a surprise. What was in the shadows will come out all at once, whether it's a hidden mistake, a missing piece of information, or an interest nobody mentioned. It'll be uncomfortable, but it saves you from building on something false. When it happens, don't react in the heat of the moment. Gather the facts and decide with a cool head. If it affects other people, tell them tactfully.
By position in the spread
In the past
Something you found out opened your eyes all at once. Since then you trust differently.
In the present
Something hidden is surfacing. Even if it throws you, it's the step right before you see everything clearly.
In the future
A doubt you've been carrying for a while will be resolved suddenly. What you discover will help you decide.
If they come up reversed
With The Tower reversed, you sense the truth but it never quite comes out, and tension builds. With The Moon reversed, the confusion starts clearing up on its own. If both are reversed, there's something you already know and are avoiding looking at. Naming that suspicion usually takes away a good part of its weight.
Don't fear the truth. It saves you time.
Frequently asked questions
Do The Tower and The Moon predict a betrayal?
They can point to a deception that gets uncovered, or a fear of your own that falls apart. Either way, the truth comes out.
Should I stop asking questions when The Tower and The Moon appear together?
Quite the opposite. It's a good moment to ask for direct answers. These cards favor hidden things coming to light.
