Page of Wands
enthusiasm, curiosity, message

The image and its symbolism
In the Rider-Waite deck, a young man stands in a desert landscape with pyramid-shaped mountains behind him, holding his staff with both hands and looking at it with interest. He wears a tunic covered in salamanders and a feather in his hat. The desert is ground waiting to be explored, and the salamanders stand for the element of fire. His gaze holds the curiosity of someone just starting out.
