Eight of Wands
speed, movement, news
Eight staffs fly side by side over open country, with nobody holding them. Things move fast. Messages, trips, answers that all land at once. Whatever was stuck starts moving again.
The image and its symbolism
In the Rider-Waite deck, eight staffs fly diagonally and in parallel over open countryside, with a river and a hill with a house in the background. There are no people in the card. The staffs in the air mean movement and speed, and since they're all flying the same way, nothing slows them down. The sky is clear.
What Eight of Wands means
The Eight of Wands is the card of things speeding up. You've been waiting ages for an answer and suddenly three arrive at once. Someone texts, someone calls, a trip gets confirmed, or paperwork that was stuck gets sorted out in a day.
Be quick on your feet. You don't need to think everything through ten times. Answer, decide, and move. Just keep your focus, because when everything goes this fast it's easy to slip up from rushing. Write down what's pending, sort your priorities, and answer the important things first.
